When finely crafted design meets crisply honed words – it’s a touch of magic that’s hard to resist. It’s a proven, long-lasting formula that’s bringing success to businesses around the world.
 
Of course we’re totally biased but we think this site is a perfect example. We’ve used images and straplines together on every page to communicate some of our personality and what we can do for you.
 
How can you get magic like this?
 
Firstly choose your design company carefully – make sure they have the magic touch - well we would say that, wouldn’t we?
 
Secondly make sure that the words you choose work in harmony with the design to enhance your brand and communicate your messages clearly and concisely. When online, little is always more.
 
Here are some simple copy-tips to show you what we mean:
 
  • Grab attention immediately with a strong headline – you could link it to a key image if you like
 
  • Write briefly in simple English - short sentences and paragraphs of 3 lines max, because online, people lose patience with vast amounts of text
 
  • Break up the copy with sub-heads and bullet points – so it’s even easier to read
 
  • Put your most important message/information at the top of the page – that way people know straight away they’ve come to the right place
 
There’s a lot more to writing copy that works magically with design but that’s for next time.
